I am passionate about the Arts and the history behind every brushstroke.
The great artists of history used art as a powerful tool, whether it be the mathematical and proportional genius found in Ancient Greek temples or the extraordinary emotions conveyed in the Baroque paintings, artists have been at the very core of every time period. By studying Studio Art I hope to step into the shoes of these historical artists and use my talents and abilities to convey the same sense of wonder and awe. I also hope that by pursuing art history I can express just how important it is that we know the history behind the art of today and how we ended up where we are.
